I’m back to my mission to explore where Londoners get caffeinated and today’s pick is Prufrock Coffee. I’ve heard about this place for some time already and I finally got a chance to visit it. Also, it’s in my UK Bucket List and I’m very determent to tick as many boxes as possible in the next 12 months.
The first thing I like about it is location. It’s a bit off the tourist path so you can actually get a table and enjoy your coffee. I also like the space itself – huge windows bring a lot of light and it’s bigger than most of London’s coffee shops. I love minimalistic design and Prufrock Coffee made it up in the list of my favourite places.
It was lunch time so I ordered avocado salad with poached eggs and latte. The salad was huge and filled me up for another 3 hours. This was perfect because I had planned a lot of walking that day. There were a lot of onions in the salad, if you don’t like it – ask not to add when ordering (this is something I forgot of course…). Latte was… well, I always find it difficult to describe coffee. For me it’s either I can taste bitterness of burnt beans or it’s simply delicious. After Latte Art course I did earlier I can understand a bit more how to make a good coffee and this one met my expectations of a good drink.
