I know I know, for some people the idea of having The Bucket List seems stupid and too cliche, but for me it’s the only way to organize myself and plan my time. I’ve been in this situation before – after a year of living in Budapest, one week before leaving this beautiful city I realized that I hadn’t done a lot of things I wanted to. I know that we won’t be living in the UK for the rest of our lives and one day will be moving somewhere else, I want to make sure that I’ve done everything I wanted and haven’t missed out.
Also, it’s good way to get up on Saturday and start doing things (not that I don’t do anything, but you know… ). What London has taught me is to plan everything in an advance. It can sounds ridiculous, but sometimes we even book theatre tickets a year before the performace (crazy!). Anyway, I initially wanted to write down a list of ‘100 things to do before leaving the UK’, but I’ve decided to leave a room for some spontaneity and cut the list a bit.
