If I’m not mistaken it was Autumn of 2000 when we were studying world explorers at geography class. The teacher wasn’t able to keep an order in a class and everyone was talking and not paying attention to what she had to say. But not me. I was so intrigued and fascinated by those people and what they did so I was dreaming about being an explorer myself.
That was the time when I said to 12-year-old self that I have to see a Cape of a Good Hope. I can’t recall why exactly this place, but it’s been on my mind ever since.
Fast forward to 2016, I’m on a long flight London – Johannesburg still not believing I’m actually doing this – going to make my childhood dream come true! We spent 10 days exploring Cape Town and it’s surroundings. It’s an incredible place with the most beautiful scenery I ever saw in my life.

There are 2 oceans, a massive national park with a Table Mountain, surfing, vineyards, and penguins! What else do you need? 🙂 And I have a strong feeling that I will be back…
